Raymond J. Stine
Ray began his career with the Union County Prosecutor’s Office where he served as both an agent and Assistant Prosecutor. He was responsible for preparing and arguing Fourth Amendment matters, Appellate matters, and the trial by jury of all manner of criminal offenses. His work in Constitutional Law resulted in the publication of several judicial opinions regarding Fourth Amendment search and seizure.
After leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, Ray transitioned into complex civil litigation with an emphasis on environmental CERCLA/Superfund and toxic tort litigation. He worked as part of a team of attorneys responsible for investigating and determining the apportionment of costs for the remediation of landfills throughout New Jersey. Ray also litigated extensively in the field of toxic tort, working on asbestos exposure matters and industrial manufacturing/chemical exposures in the workplace.
Here, at EPSTEIN OSTROVE, LLC, Ray’s practice will focus on the litigation of personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial disputes, and criminal defense matters. He will also continue his role as prosecutor, serving on behalf of municipalities in Somerset County.
In addition to his litigation practice, Ray has developed a Wills, Trusts and Estates practice to compliment his efforts in Elder Law and related healthcare issues. He also serves as an adjunct professor teaching Civil Litigation, Legal Research and Writing, and Business Law as part of the paralegal studies program at Mercer County Community College.
