Jasmine Brown Seabrooks
Jasmine joined EPSTEIN OSTROVE, LLC in 2016. She is an Associate in the firm’s Family Law Department and concentrates her practice on representing clients on issues regarding divorce, premarital agreements, equitable distribution, cohabitation, child custody, parenting time, and relocation. She also has experience in post-judgment matters and appeals.
In addition to her family law practice, Jasmine represents clients in Criminal and Municipal legal proceedings, including but not limited to assault, possession and distribution of controlled substances, and driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Utilizing her experience from Family Law, in dealing with sensitive issues, Jasmine has also represented children and their guardians in Civil Litigation matters against municipalities and private institutions in matters of negligent hiring and supervision and New Jersey’s Anti-Bullying Statute.
Prior to joining EPSTEIN OSTROVE, LLC Jasmine served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Janetta D. Marbrey, J.S.C. in the Mercer County Superior Court, Family and Civil Divisions. Jasmine attended Rutgers School of Law-Newark, where she was the Symposium Editor of the Race and the Law Review. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University, where she graduated magna cum laude from the University Honors Program. These experiences have given Jasmine the ability to handle diverse areas of law in and out of the courtroom.
Jasmine is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey (ABWL). She enjoys community outreach with children and has served as a mock trial coach through the New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Program (NJ Leep).
