Alan Poliner is Counsel at Epstein Ostrove, LLC. He represents title insurers, property owners, developers, and businesses in matters involving riparian rights, tidelands ownership claims, CAFRA issues, and title disputes. His practice includes securing riparian grants, tidelands licenses, and Statements of No Interest.
An experienced litigator with more than 25 years of experience handling complex commercial, real estate, and business disputes, Alan’s practice also includes class actions, franchising disputes, unfair competition, and business torts. Alan also does appeals and has argued as Amicus Curiae before the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Alan regularly writes and speaks on issues affecting businesses, franchising, real estate, and commercial litigation. In June 2025, he presented “Tidelands: Don’t Let a Claim Ruin a Sale” at the Bay Head Yacht Club in Bay Head, New Jersey. His other published articles and commentary have addressed joint employer rules affecting franchises, proposed federal restrictions on non-compete agreements, franchisee and franchisor relationships, and New Jersey hospitality franchising legislation.
Alan is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania state courts, as well as the District Courts of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Alan is an avid football fan, enjoys trivia and spending time with his family.
