Santiago Guevara is an Associate in Epstein Ostrove’s Personal Injury Department. Santiago is committed to helping individuals and families navigate the legal challenges that arise after an injury caused by the negligence of others. He works closely with his clients to understand their individual circumstances, protect their rights, and pursue the compensation to which they are entitled. Santiago brings a diligent, compassionate, and client-focused approach to every matter he handles. Prior to joining the firm, Santiago served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Gavin I. Handwerker, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union Vicinage.
Santiago earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law as a Legal Education Opportunity Scholarship recipient and was awarded the Outstanding Advocate Award for his dedication to defending clients and supporting New Jersey’s immigrant communities. During law school, Santiago worked with the Detention, Deportation, Defense Initiative at the Center for Social Justice at Seton Hall University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
He is of Colombian descent and is fluent in Spanish.
