Jasmine joined Epstein Ostrove, LLC in 2016. She is an Associate and maintains her practice primarily in the Firm’s Family Law Department, representing clients on issues regarding divorce, premarital agreements, postnuptial agreements, equitable distribution, cohabitation, child custody, parenting time, relocation, post judgment applications, and appeals.

Jasmine has also represented children and their guardians in Civil Litigation matters against municipalities and private institutions in matters of negligent hiring and supervision and New Jersey’s Anti-Bullying Statute. Additionally, Jasmine’s communication skills are unparalleled as she regularly engages with Pro Hac Vice co-counsel from California and Texas and international clients.

Jasmine applies a combination of her compassion and litigation skills to obtain victories for her Criminal and Municipal Law clients in matters including but not limited to assault, possession and distribution of controlled substances, conspiracy, and driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Due to her skillset and dedication to the practice of law, Jasmine has been selected for inclusion in the SuperLawyers™ Rising Stars list in 2020, 2021 and 2023. She was also recognized as Forty Under 40 Honoree by NJBIZ in 2023. Prior to joining Epstein Ostrove, LLC, Jasmine served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Janetta D. Marbrey, J.S.C. in Mercer County Superior Court, Family and Civil Divisions. Jasmine received her Law Degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark, where she served as the Symposium Editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Review and the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Association of Black Law Students. Jasmine also served as a mock trial coach through the New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Program (NJ Leep). Jasmine obtained her Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University, where she graduated magna cum laude from the University Honors Program.

Jasmine is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and a member of NJAJ’s Minority Trial Lawyer’s Caucus. She has served as a co-chair and panelist for NJAJ’s Meadowlands Seminar on Unconscious Bias. Additionally, she actively participates in activities and volunteer initiatives with the Middlesex County Bar Association.

Jasmine is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc., and lives by the sorority’s motto “By Culture and By Merit.” Jasmine enjoys community outreach, especially with regard to children, and continues her community efforts through her church.

When not participating in bar activities and community service, Jasmine likes to spend time with her family, including with the family dog, Duston.
