Jasmine Brown Seabrooks, is spotlighted by the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ), highlighting her contributions as co-chair of the NJAJ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and a co-chair of NJAJ’s Minority Trial Lawyer’s Caucus.

Meet Jasmine Brown Seabrooks, Esq. Jasmine has been an associate at Epstein Ostrove, LLC, since 2016. She maintains her practice primarily in the Firm’s Family Law Department, representing clients on issues regarding divorce, premarital agreements, postnuptial agreements, equitable distribution, cohabitation, child custody, parenting time, relocation, post judgment applications, and appeals. Jasmine also represents clients in criminal and personal injury matters.

She has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Jasmine has also been recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal as a New Leader of the Bar.

Prior to joining Epstein Ostrove, LLC, Jasmine served as a law clerk to Superior Court Judge Janetta D. Marbrey in Mercer County in the Family and Civil Divisions. Jasmine is a co-chair of the NJAJ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and a co-chair of NJAJ’s Minority Trial Lawyer’s Caucus. She has also served as a program co-chair and panelist at NJAJ educational events. She actively participates in activities and volunteer initiatives with the Middlesex County Bar Association.

Jasmine received her Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University, where she graduated magna cum laude from the University Honors Program. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, where she served as the Symposium Editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Review and was vice president of academic affairs for the Association of Black Law Students.

She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and lives by the sorority’s motto “By Culture and By Merit.”

Jasmine enjoys community outreach, especially with regard to children, and continues her community efforts through her church. When not participating in bar activities and community service, Jasmine likes to spend time with her family, including the family dog.
